FSP

When Merseyside Development Corporation was set up, FSP undertook the initial development potential appraisal of over 6m sq ft of existing dockland buildings, including the Grade I Listed 1.25m sq ft Albert Dock. We devised a phased restoration/conversion/market development strategy and introduced private sector developer partners Arrowcroft. Since then we have undertaken the conversion and external restoration of most blocks, including 200,000 sq ft of retail development, 100 flats and penthouses overlooking the Dock and Mersey, the Beatles Museum and many of the pubs, shops and restaurants, totalling some £25m of investment. We are still involved in upgrading and renewing as needs change.
